Centerpieces

I am having two styles of centerpieces.  Half of the table will have flower centerpieces (not DIY) and the other half will be DIY candle centerpieces.  Here are some of my inspiration pictures..  Later posts will show my version.

Cake Stand

Originally I had wanted a cake plateau, but our cake person does not provide them.  I researched the cost, between $ 70 - $250 and decided it really wasn't worth it for something that I was only going to use once.  Then I saw this DIY idea:

I think this will be perfect.  It will go great with the centerpieces that I have chosen.

The Process has begun

Actually the process started last year after our engagement in November 2008.  So off to the wedding plans.

We are getting married under a windmill near 50 others.  The windmill we chose has a view of all of the others.  So as the blog name states we are hoping for wind!!  But please no rain.

As a crafter and also a couple with a budget alot of the items for our wedding and reception will be DIY.

I have looked at many blogs in the search of project pictures and how to's so I thought that I would write my own.

So let's see where the wind takes us!!
